A person was standing in front of me
With his shirt torn and nothing within
He had a very pitiable face
This made everyone gaze
He had rupees twenty in his hand
With which he was standing there
Along with a child of four years
Who too, had a worn-out wear
He was there in front of the school
Asking the principal for her boon
He wanted his child’s admission
In her school with her permission
The school’s total fee was rupee nine
hundred
With which he was unable to be
burdened
The principal had this argument
For not taking the child in school’s
enrollment
The scene made me cry horribly
And made me think of my career
properly
That was the day I decided
I should do some social service

Thanks and lot Ranjeet .. well first for the comment...and second for that lovely words ...and third for the real philosophy on the thing called life .. loved it ... so true ..let's try to use the time we have instead of crippling about what's gone.... but you know this is life and we are humans means even tomorrow we will have some regret of today ...but seriously thanks again
