MY DADDY

I am crazy about my Daddy

Who always has something to tell me

He never forced on me any profession

Though he sometimes 
Was not happy about my decisions

He was always there to help

And guided when I required them

He sometimes does get angry with me

But I know how to tackle him

Just a small smile on my face

Makes him happy and he gazes

He sometimes calls me a foolish girl

Who doesn’t know the talent in her

I always give him a simple reply

That you are always there to guide  

I feel so secure in his arm

That I always want along with Mom

Though he is away from my sight

But his words are always to guide

He is the best friend I have in my life

From whom I just can’t be deprived

He is always with all his love and care

This sometimes makes me stand and stare

What has made him unique in this world

Of course the softness in his voice

He is certainly a different person

For this he has so many reasons

He has sacrificed all his life

For his children and their life

He is ready to sell his last shirt

If his children require them

May god give him strength of strong mind

But with a very soft heart of its kind
